“Everyday is the same…” SYNDROME!

In everyday life we go through different events. Yes we may be busy, distracted, ignorant to notice any difference and then call it a “the monotone form of life” for our simple everyday life. Not so in a positive way. But we weren’t paying attention right from the get go anyway!? From the time we woke up. How did we come to a point where we seek different stimuli (a dose of dopamine) to feel good about our daily life?

For one reason being, “simple things are boring”. I know what you are thinking on this, “not every manageable task can be thrilling nor exciting so cut it out already!”

Why would waking up at the same time everyday to go to work, to go to school, to take the buss, to prepare breakfast for the kids would be crucial to deserve your attention?? It eats up all of your energy first thing in the morning. Obviously, we are not always that thoughtful of what we should do with our energy and with our efforts. No matter how ridiculous they might be to others.

A lot of different factors go in to making this decision process from values to emotions. But aside from discussing what goes into a sum of thoughts, what are the end results? Are we sometimes forgetting that these outcomes are actually our responsibility?

Let’s go take it back to the first part! What if these simple actions were so much more than what we have always assumed? What if thinking in a more simple manner was not addressed often for a reason?

Have your thoughts on this question. Hope you enjoyed this coincidental read.
